Color
The color pattern invites nostalgia of the carnival, an iconic American pastime. The characteristics of the color scheme are bold and classic.
Popping off the screen, the primary hues in our palette are mustard yellow and maroon. These vivid colors are the primary colors for the website, logo, and all other graphics; used tangentially with the secondary colors as backgrounds for website features like buttons, headers, and sub headers.

The secondary hues (taupe and cream yellow) in our palette are less saturated. These two colors work in tandem with our primary colors to provide contrast. These colors are on the website, logo, all other graphics; and used tangentially with the primary colors as accent colors. The secondary hues may be used to underlay the primary colors.

The base colors (black and white) are used for outlines and text, depending on the background. The color white is used as the base background for the website and blog.
